for pool communities.
Member Splash wasn't built in a boardroom. It was born poolside — by a family that grew up in swim clubs, managed them, and built software specifically for them.
"In 2010, my brother — owner of Pool Personnel in Montgomery County — told me exactly what his clubs needed. We built this for him first."
— Member Splash Founder, Jamie Currie

Growing up in Montgomery County, MD, Member Splash founder Jamie Currie was a lifelong pool kid. Summer days started with swim practice and ended with the guards insisting the pool was closing and he had to go home. Soon enough he was a lifeguard himself, and eventually he was managing a dozen clubs in MD and DC during summers home from college.
His brother, John Currie, followed the same path — then went a step further, buying out the pool company he worked for. As owner of Pool Personnel, John provides complete pool management and staffing to clubs throughout the county.
In 2010, John approached Jamie — by then a web developer running his own shop in southern California — about helping one of his clubs shift registration and dues payments online. Neither one realized it at the time, but Member Splash was born.
What sets Member Splash apart is our commitment to listening. Each season concludes with a comprehensive survey where partner clubs share their experiences, challenges, and ideas. This direct feedback loop drives our development roadmap — every new feature exists because a volunteer board member told us it would make their life easier.
What started as a simple registration system grew steadily — driven by real clubs, real feedback, and a commitment to building what actually works.
John Currie asked his brother Jamie to help one club shift registration and dues payments online. A one-off project turned into something much bigger.
The simple registration system expanded to handle front desk check-in and bulk email communication. Word started to spread among neighboring clubs.
A board member from another pool spotted the system at a swim meet and reached out. A project with potential was becoming a real platform.
Webcam check-in, full attendance and payment reporting, Excel/CSV exports, and support for a wide range of pricing plans. In use at 10 clubs and growing year-round.
Member Splash now serves 470+ clubs across 30+ states with a 95% retention rate — running on enterprise-grade infrastructure with Poseidon AI and new features every season.

Pool boards run on volunteers with day jobs. We work around board schedules, not the other way around — and we design for anyone, no tech background required.
Every season ends with a comprehensive survey. Your input directly shapes what we build next — not market trends or investor priorities.
Daily on- and off-site backups, always-on uptime, and tight MailChimp integration — including a standalone WordPress plugin in MailChimp's program.
Built on 16 seasons of real club data. Revenue forecasting, membership analytics, board reporting, and more — woven throughout the platform, not bolted on.
Our founders grew up at pools, worked at pools, and managed pools. We didn't stumble into this industry — we came from it, and it shows in every feature we ship.
