Why the Change?

Our integrated email tool is built right into Member Splash, offering you an efficient and user-friendly way to manage your email campaigns. With this new feature, you can take advantage of dynamic filter criteria to send targeted messages to your members, all from within our platform.

Getting Started

The email tool is available by default to users with the Board role. However, you can easily grant access to other user roles via the Admin → User Roles screen.

To get started, navigate to Communications → Email Campaigns from your admin dashboard. On your first visit, you’ll be prompted to configure the tool by entering a physical address to comply with the federal CAN-SPAM Act. Once this is done, you’re ready to explore the rest of the features. You can always update the address later if needed.

Each email sent will include an automatically generated footer with an unsubscribe link to ensure compliance and provide your members with easy opt-out options.

Managing Your Contacts

Our email tool simplifies contact management. The Contacts tab displays all members with an email address in the system. As you add, edit, or delete members, the list updates automatically.

You can filter your contacts by various criteria such as payment status or account type, and even search by name or email address. If a member unsubscribes, they’ll be removed from your bulk email list but will still receive essential system messages like payment confirmations.

Targeted Communication with Segments

Segments let you target specific subsets of your membership. For instance, you can send renewal notices to unpaid members while excluding those on a wait list. Before sending any message, you must create at least one segment to ensure you reach the right audience.

To create a segment, go to the Segments tab and click Add Segment. Define the filter criteria, and remember that all selected criteria must be met for a member to be included. This feature ensures your messages are precise and relevant.

Crafting Your Campaigns

Our Campaigns feature allows you to design and send email messages with ease. You can view, edit, or duplicate any campaign for future use. Campaign names are for internal reference only; your members will only see the subject line and content of the email.

When creating or editing a campaign, you’ll first set the Campaign Name, Email List Segment, and Email Subject Line. Then, use our drag-and-drop editor to design your email. It’s packed with features, including AI image generation and content suggestions, and allows you to preview your email across various devices to ensure it looks perfect.

AI-Powered Imagery

Our new image tool leverages AI to help you create the ideal visuals for your emails. Enter a text prompt to generate images, select your favorite, and customize it with editing tools. You also have access to millions of royalty-free stock images for even more options.

Testing and Sending

Before sending your campaign live, use the Test Send feature to ensure everything looks as expected. Once you’re satisfied, hit Send to List. Your message will be sent through SendGrid, a leading email delivery service, ensuring reliability and performance. Track the success of your campaigns with detailed metrics on opens, bounces, and clicks.
