Why did we the Reservation System?
At Member Splash we’ve always focused on the challenges of Swim/Swim and Tennis Clubs. In (March) of 2020, we were increasingly fielding questions from our clubs who were suddenly faced with the most challenging of situations – the global pandemic of Covid-19 and the inherent dangers of public gatherings. Many states began mandating social distancing and eventually established rules and phases for re-opening.
The Member Splash team faced the challenge head-on! In response to the needs of our customers and the communities they serve – we built the Member Splash Reservation System in record time. It’s now in place and processing over (x thousand) reservations per week for our clubs.
What does it do for your board members and administrators?
The Reservation System helps you to keep your members safe! It allows you to easily deploy a member reservation capability for your various club elements including lap lanes, main pool, baby pool, deck area, tennis courts and so on.
The Reservation System allows you to easily:
- Set up specific schedules for each of your pool facilities. You define the duration and times for each reservation slot.
- Set “empty” times for the pool to allow for cleaning and disinfecting of common areas. You decide how much time to allow for members to exit, staff clean up, and entering members.
- Set up capacity limits for each of your facilities e.g. two people per lap lane, 50 maximum in the main pool, 8 maximum at the baby pool.
- Establish reservation limits for your members such as maximum number of reservations per member per day or per week.
- Check in members with reservation status right on the check in screen.
- Create reports and download data of member reservations for analysis and planning
What does it do for your members?
Paid members simply log onto your Member Splash system, select which facility they want to book – e.g. lap lane – and browse the visual calendar for available time slots. Booking is easy for an individual or for the entire family. Your members can book as many slots as you allow either on a per day or per week basis. Members can also easily view, change, or cancel their upcoming reservations!
